Winston Fletcher fiction prize

Winston Fletcher used to be a big wig in advertising.

Amongst his many other achievements, Winston was a prolific and eclectic writer of both non-fiction and fiction – he published more than 15 books and over 3,000 articles. So after his death an annual writing competition was launched to celebrate his legacy. It's open to writers in the advertising industry to try and unearth the next great wordsmith.

We created some press and posters to tell copywriters that some of the greatest writers in the world started in advertising and what could have been if they hadn't got out.
